Dreamcatchers

In this post I will introduce "Dreamcatchers".

A dreamcatcher is a handmade ornaments that originated with the Ojibwa indian tribe that former occupied much of a Canada and the United States. Objan Indians  wish of for their children's healthy growth, Parents made them by hand for their children, and they put they put them on a bedside pillow of a child as an amulet.


The shape of a dreamcatcher is like a net in the middle, or a spider's web. This shape is based on a legend of the Ojibwa tribe. There was a beautiful woman named Acibibashi at the center of the tribe. She seems to have taken care of all the creatures of the world. She was known as a "spider woman". She is said to have made an invisible net in the bed of the children and captured any nightmare with that net, and extinguished the nightmare. From this legend, the shape of the Dreamcatcher is made.

 


Now let's review how to use a Dreamcatcher. First, a Dreamcatcher is used to decorate the place you sleep, such as the bed or bedside. According to the Ojibwa tribe, the Dreamcatcher has the power to change dreams. The nightmare disappears at daybreak when caught in the mesh. Only a good dream can go through the hole in the center of the mesh and feathers comes down onto the sleeping person. Even normal size, selling unusual the Dream Catcher and fashionable. Now, there are goods such as necklaces, earrings, straps, cell phones cover and so on that reasonable dreamcatchers. Some shops are selling a very big Dream Catcher whose size is about the size of the face. I like Dream Catcher, because I rarely have the nightmare I decorating it in a place to sleep.


Why don’t you guys find one at a shop? Depending on the shop, a unique dreamcatcher design maybe on sale.

I would like to introduce Gamelan balls. They are from Bali in Indonesia. For the past, when Bali's people attended religious ceremonies they used Balinese instruments, as   Bali's people give instrument to God indispensable things is Gamelan. Have you ever heard of nazar bonju? This is a type of amulet from Turkey. It seems that nazar means evil eye and bonju is  a charm like an eyeball. Have the power to make people happy of "Lovespoon"

Have you ever heard of an amulet named "Lovespoon"? This is traditional amulet from the UK. Specifically, it was a traditional craft in the Celtic region of the UK. This spoon is said to have the power to make people happy. It is said that a man sent a Lovespoon to a woman who loves a wooden spoon with a decorative sculpture in Wales in the 17th century.
